JULIE CARIGNAN earned a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Puget Sound in 2002, and her J.D. from Seattle University in 2005. She has tried over 25 cases to juries as a municipal prosecutor and civil litigator, and has significant experience representing clients in arbitrations and administrative hearings. Her current practice focuses on defending clients in civil litigation and advising clients in the areas of personal injury, labor and employment, and civil rights. She provides legal services, including representation in Pollution Control Hearings Board actions, to the Olympic Region Clean Air Authority. Julie has served the community as board member and president of Thurston County Volunteer Legal Services and as a board member of the Capitol Chapter of Washington Women Lawyers.
