Joshua D. Orf-Rodriguez

Joshua Orf-Rodriguez obtained his law degree from University of Washington School of Law in 2015, achieving the highest grade in three of his classes, including legal writing and research. Thereafter, he clerked for Judge Tom Bjorgen at the Washington State Court of Appeals, Division II for two years, where he assisted in drafting numerous appellate opinions on behalf of the Court of Appeals. After completing his clerkship in 2017, he joined the Government Compliance and Enforcement Division of the Washington State Attorney General’s Office (AGO), focusing on defending the actions of the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board and Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission through motion practice, administrative hearings, and appeals.  In 2021, he joined the AGO’s Torts Division, where he defended state agencies from tort lawsuits alleging negligence related to wrongful death, civil rights, road/crosswalk design, breach of contract, and defamation, to name a few. Joshua joined this firm in 2024, where he continues to defend governmental entities from tort claims at both the trial court and appellate levels.  In his free time, Joshua enjoys running, playing guitar, fantasy sports, and spending time with his family.
