ELIZABETH A. MCINTYRE obtained her law degree in 1990 from the University of California in Davis, California. She began her career in Walnut Creek, California where her practice focused on insurance defense and insurance coverage litigation. In 1995, Beth began working in San Francisco where she focused on the defense of insurers in complex environmental and asbestos-related insurance coverage matters. Beth moved to Washington State in 1998 to join this firm, where she focuses primarily on the representation of governmental and private clients in employment and personnel matters, including workplace discrimination and harassment; wage and hour claims; whistleblower claims; FMLA claims; and labor and union matters. Beth has also served as an independent investigator into employment-related complaints. She also works in areas of insurance defense; insurance coverage litigation; and preparation of insurance coverage analysis on behalf of private insurers. Beth also serves as an arbitrator for Thurston and Mason counties and as an editor and author for the WSBA Civil Procedure Deskbook. She also serves on the WPI subcommittee for drafting employment-related pattern jury instructions. Beth has also served as adjunct disciplinary counsel for the WSBA. She is admitted to the bar in Washington State and Oregon State; the Federal District Courts for the Western District of Washington, Oregon, the Eastern District of Michigan, and the Northern and Central Districts of California; and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. In her spare time, she enjoys cycling, hiking, and photography.
