send a messageDON G. DANIEL graduated from Seattle University in 1977. He attended law school at Gonzaga University where he obtained his law degree, cum laude, in 1981. During law school he served as the Chief Law Clerk for the Consumer Protection and Anti Trust Division of the Attorney General’s Office in Spokane. Following law school Don joined the Tort Claims Division of the Attorney General’s Office where his practice emphasized tort and civil rights litigation representing the State of Washington, its agencies and institutions in a variety of matters including highway design, law enforcement, supervision and release, wrongful death, professional licensing omissions, catastrophic injury, and negligence. After the Attorney General’s Office, Don entered private practice in Tacoma where his practice focused on insurance defense and business litigation. Don joined this firm in 1987. His practice includes insurance defense and insurance coverage litigation; representation of governmental and transit entities in a variety of tort and civil rights litigation and general civil litigation. Don also provides arbitration and mediation services to parties in litigation. Don served as the Chairman of Thurston County Moderate Risk Hazardous Waste Planning Committee and was a member of the Thurston County Storm & Surface Water Advisory Board. He has also served as Special District Counsel for Washington State Bar Association as well as a member of the Washington State Bar Association Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee.
